Grimsby, ON (October 2, 2017) – Stacey Mulholland, Chair of the Board of Directors of the International Cool Climate Chardonnay Celebration (i4C), is pleased to announce the appointment of Trisha Molokach as the new Event Director of the i4C. Trisha Molokach succeeds Dorian Anderson, who recently accepted the position of Executive Director of the Niagara Grape and Wine Festival.
Well known and respected within the Canadian wine community, Molokach has served as i4C’s Director of Operations since 2012. She has also led key initiatives for Wine Country Ontario and helped manage a number of other wine events and awards programs, including the Twenty Valley Winter WineFest, Somewhereness, Graze the Bench, Taste Ontario and the Pinnacle Awards. The certified sommelier also has over twenty years of experience in global conference services.
“I am incredibly excited to have the opportunity to help lead i4C into its eighth year and continue on our quest to shine the spotlight on this seriously cool varietal. I’ve worked closely with Dorian and the i4C Board of Directors to help build an i4C brand and event playbook that seems to really resonate with our audiences and I look forward to working with the team to continue to build and grow one of the country’s most buzzed about wine events.” said Molokach.
“The i4C Board of Directors is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Trisha in her new role as Event Director. Trisha has played a pivotal role in taking i4C from a sparkle in the eye of a handful of Niagara winemakers to a highly anticipated annual event that attracts world-class winemakers, wine writers and wine lovers from across the globe. We’re incredibly grateful to Dorian for all she has done for i4C. While there’s no doubt that she has left very big shoes to fill, we can’t think of a better person to lead us into the future than Trisha,” said Stacey Mulholland, Chair of the i4C Board.
